Describe your day: Magical. I barely experienced any of the morning nerves people talk about, i was so excited to see Matt, and to see all my hard work come together lol! It really was the most special day, seeing so many special friends and family surrounding us and supporting us. Matt and I are so close, but it was something really special experiencing a commitment ceremony like that, it drew us even closer and the whole day was like a beautiful , loved up blur. It was intimate and fun and to be in such a stunningly beautiful place was absolutely everything. I wouldn’t change a thing.

What was the feel and style of your wedding? I was aiming for a bohemian vibe. I love everything outdoor, and nature, green fields and beautiful flowers. Being by the river and having the fire pit was magical, the whole feel of the day was relaxed and intimate. I think a lot of our friends had never been to a wedding like it and just loved it. I know i did.

Why Riverwood? Riverwood was just perfect for us.I had dreamed of an outdoor wedding, in nature. We had a few places i thought i wanted to be married and then as soon as we walked into Riverwood we both just looked at each other and said i think this is it! It was stunning and full of beautiful green trees and grass and pretty flowers, and right on a river! The fire pit and relaxed vibe was so cool, and we loved the idea of creating our wedding around all the things we love, something unique. We were soo lucky to find it!

 

Favourite moment: Can’t beat the ceremony, it was my favourite moment by far. I wish i could re-live it. Saying our vows was so special, even though I struggled to get mine out without balling my eyes out! Everything was perfect, the emotion, the stunning scenery and my husband, who surprised me at how good his vows were! It was also a really proud moment to be walked down the isle by my Mum and my Dad.

Hints & Tips for other Brides: Just think about what you and your partner want for your day and what things means a lot to you , in regards to your style and the vibe you want.Everything about our day was what we loved, down to the colourful bridesmaids dresses, which is sooo me. Also just try not to stress, Nothing could have ruined that day for me.
