"The location is hands down incredible! So naturally beautiful and well maintained. We knew once we saw Riverwood that is was perfect for us.

 

Carmen and the family were so incredibly amazing for our wedding, nothing was a drama and Carmen helped out so much with the photos and locations, feeding me and making sure I was getting enough booze and even carrying my train. The day was perfect thanks to this beautiful woman and the amazing Riverwood. Wish we could do it all again!"

 

Describe your day: It was just perfect! The plannings all done so you can just get to enjoy the whole day! I was feeling a bit apprehensive about how the day would go as my Mum, my everything, had passed away only months prior to the wedding, but everyone involved in the day paid special tribute including Ben is his vows, which just reinforced why we were getting married. Ben and I also did a first look which was reassuring and personal, an intimate moment just to ourselves.

What was the feel and style of your wedding? We really wanted everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable. We wanted a real sense of community so we went with the banquet style feasting and tables for the reception which I thought hit the spot. The style was just an extension of the natural landscape of Riverwood - green, lush and natural.

Favourite moment: For me it was standing in front of everyone we love and listening to Ben's heartfelt vows - he was crying, I was crying, everyone was crying. It was a beautiful moment. 

​

Why Riverwood? Initially we had a venue booked in Northern NSW which fell through. I immediately jumped on Google and saw pictures of Riverwood on WedShed and fell in love. The natural beauty, layout and option to have both ceremony, reception and photos onsite in one location was amazing, so easy!  

 

Hints & Tips for other Brides: I know everyone says it but just don't stress too much, be as organised as possible because something you haven't thought of always pops up. Talk to people about there weddings and take that advice on board. And focus on you both on the day, everyone is just happy to be there and they don't expect a personal greeting so don't stress about having to thank everyone on the day. Oh! And order your thank you cards before the wedding (use some engagement photos) That way there's not a big delay on the thank you's :-)
